Marlon Vera finishes fights.

Fans have grown to love Vera (15-5-1 MMA, 9-4 UFC), the UFC’s resident Ecuadorian, for his flashy, fun fighting style and finishing abilities. Since his promotional debut in 2014, Vera has competed 13 times. While he’s never lost by any method other than unanimous decision, Vera has won eight of nine victories inside the distance.

At UFC Fight Night 73 in August 2015, Vera picked up his first UFC win by triangle-armbar. The finish gave viewers a sneak preview of the submission prowess they’d come to expect out of Vera for years to come.

Fast forward to present day, and Vera is riding a five-fight winning streak. The 27-year-old bantamweight fighter was scheduled to fight March 28 against former UFC title contender Eddie Wineland at UFC on ESPN 8. However, the bout was postponed due to coronavirus outbreak restrictions.
